AV Cloud Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 23, 2026
AV Cloud is a Polyology product. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit avcloud.co, use app.avcloud.co, create an account, or choose to sync a project.
Information we handle
When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, the provider and Amazon Cognito give AV Cloud an account identifier and profile information that may include your name and email address. The details vary by provider and your choices; Apple may use a private relay address. We use this information to sign you in and show your account identity.
Projects you work on without syncing are saved in your browser. If you choose to sync a project, AV Cloud sends its project document and revision history to private storage in Amazon Web Services and associates it with your AV Cloud account. Project documents may contain device lists, diagrams, notes, schedules, and other information you enter. Sync is manual in the initial release. A project stored only in one browser will not automatically appear on another device.
Display names and profile pictures entered in Account settings are saved in that browser. They do not currently follow your account to another device.
If you contact us through the AV Cloud site, we receive the contact details and message you provide. If you subscribe to updates, Zoho Campaigns processes your email address and subscription preferences; you can unsubscribe through an update email.
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request times, and error records to deliver and protect the service. The AV Cloud marketing site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate site measurement.
How we use information
We use account information to authenticate users, display an account identity, provide requested cloud sync and recovery, respond to support requests, maintain service security, and operate the site. We do not sell personal information. Signing in through two different providers may currently create separate AV Cloud accounts, so their cloud projects are not automatically combined.
Service providers and location
Amazon Web Services hosts the app, identity service, and cloud project data in the United States. Google, Apple, or Microsoft processes sign-in when you choose that provider. Cloudflare provides marketing site analytics, and Zoho provides mailing-list services. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and our service arrangements.
Storage and retention
Cloud projects are stored in a private, encrypted, versioned AWS bucket. A deleted cloud project can be restored for 30 days; after that period, scheduled maintenance removes its stored versions. A content-free deletion record remains to prevent an old device from recreating the deleted project; it is removed when the account is purged. Project revision history is recoverable for 30 days, and at least the latest 10 revisions may be retained while the project remains active. Deactivating a cloud account starts a 30-day recovery period. After it expires, scheduled maintenance removes its cloud projects and account identity, then retains a content-free account deletion record for seven days. Cleanup may finish about a day after a recovery period ends. Browser-local projects remain on the device until you remove them or clear that browser's data.
We keep support correspondence and operational records only as long as needed for service, security, or legal purposes. Mailing-list information is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to records needed to honor that choice.
Your choices
You can export browser-local projects, choose whether to sync, delete and restore cloud projects during their recovery period, and deactivate and reactivate your cloud account during its recovery period. Clearing browser data can remove local projects and locally saved profile settings. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable requirements.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the product or our practices change. We will update the effective date when we do. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@avcloud.co.
